A desired goal of this
user designed website is to inspire and facilitate the
means for friendly and open communication between
neighboring secular-minded, non-religious, atheist, agnostic
and similar freethinking groups for the purpose of sharing
ideas, resource materials, information and other unique group needs; thus,
fostering organized development of broader community of cooperation.
We hope
to set a new pace of enthusiasm for secular support
everywhere and to create an atmosphere conducive to increased
visitation and coordination between individual local groups
with state, regional and national community organizations. By providing
this
FREE service for
the variety of freethinking groups, skeptic societies,
atheist movement groups and the like, we hope to fulfill a small part of our
promise to uphold the purpose of our
mission.
This site
is essentially an equivalent to a set of simple user
tools. Keeping in mind the need for non-religious,
secular-minded individuals and groups to involve themselves in
civil matters that are paramount to maintaining an open and
free society, FreeThoughtUSA.com is pleased to
assume the responsibility of putting people and groups
together, neighbor-to-neighbor, town-to-town, city-by-city and
state-by-state, as a single and unified body in support of
reason and the Jeffersonian ideal of maintaining a wall
of separation between church and state. We look forward to
assisting everyone interested in starting-up a local area
group intent upon linking with others in their own area to
become a part of this growing united web of civic minded,
secular suppotive, non-religious citizens.
